I still reckon you should ride a bike. Completed seven hours of biking around Hamburg today. Temperature in the low 30s. An industrial harbour town but made for bikes.
Also have you tried exporting to Google Earth. After you have done the walk attach a photo along the way then export to google earth. This creates a fly past of places on your trip.
